Lump in breasts

I’m 18. About 6 years ago when I was 12 I found a lump in one of my breasts a few weeks later I found another one in my other breast. I went to the doctor who referred me to the hospital. I went and the doctor there examined me. He said because of my age it could be blocked milk ducts or a cysts. They were only small so I didn’t bother. My mum asked me a few months later but I just said they’d gone but they hadn’t and were growin. All this time I haven’t said anythin and they are quite big now. I’m really scared it could be serious. But I don’t want to go doctors because I shouldn’t have left it so long. What should I do? :(

Dear I dunno what to do. Yes you do know what to do. Go to the doctor! Get a friend to take you - get a relative to take you - get an anxiety pill - whatever it takes. Take yourself but get yourself there. It’s not like you have not gone and already seen about it - a doctor did examine you at one time. The lumps came back - doesn’t matter how long they have been there - they are there now - if it embarrasses you to tell them how long the lumps have been there - don’t tell them - the important thing to do is to go and see a doctor and I mean NOW. Your life is not worth the embarrassment of what runs through your head. Your thoughts lie - just know that. You have a responsibility to the body you were given when you were put on this earth. Your responsibility is to take care of your body. Doesn’t matter about embarrasment (you may have a social anxiety disorder of sorts) but what does matter is that you go see a doctor. Do it now before you get time to think about it. It may be nothing - so its better than worrying about it all this time. You won’t die from just seeing a doctor, the doctor won’t think your bad, nothing like that. PROMISE YOURSELF YOU WILL GO AND GET THOSE LITTLE LUMPY LUMPS CHECKED OUT. Take your lumps for a little walk - straight to a doctors office. Don’t tell them where your going if it helps. Put a smile on your face and tell them today is the day we go see the doctor. They will thank you for it later. GO…NOW…
