Lump under arm and in breast

I am 32 years old. Over a year ago, I had an ultrasound of a large lump under my right arm. Doctor said not to worry about it, but couldn’t tell me what it was. No mass was found then. Now, the lump has gotten harder and I think bigger. I found a large cyst like knot in my right breast last week. I went to the doctor again and they are scheduling a biopsy and mammogram. I am scared and hoping someone has had a similar experience. What should I expect?

I haven’t been through this myself, but I know someone who was.

from what I can remember, the mammogram is pretty uncomfortable, but the waiting time after was hell.

All I can say is that I hope if it is malignant, that they caught it soon enough - you’re so young to have to go through this.

I am sixteen and have a small lump in my breast too. I went to the doctor for it and he took a look at it, and gave it this weird name for it and said not to worry about it.
