I dislike my name very much. please help

I think that you should create a fun nickname, like kiki. my friends name is keely, and everyone says its pretty, but she hates it, so we call her melody [she can sing good], and my name is sunni which I hate verrry much, so I have lots of nicknames and my different friends call me different things. im not a fan of the name keely,. but I could probably deal with it. take care!.

my name is jaimie. my middle name is louise. yep, I got two of the worst names for a girl. do you know how many people assume im a boy? trust me, its enough. most of my friends and family call me by my nick-name, bubbles. when I meet new people I tell them my name is jaimie-louise. I’ve recently started signing letters and e-mails and stuff like that to. I get sick of people thinking im a boy. I think keeley is really pretty, so good luck! ;)

Have you asked your mother or father where they came up with the name? Maybe it has a special meaning for them…Personally I love unusual, different names…on every corner you run into a Stefanie or Michelle or whatever…My kids all have unique names, they never have anyone in their cass or in their school with their same name…I don’t think your name sounds wierd at all…but if you really dislike it, you can always change it (legally) when you’re 18…(if you’re not already).

well I think you should just leave it bkuz your mom are dad are someone gave you that name for a reason… you should thank gos you have a name and you can change it im sure but if you change it you might regret it…o and names from hawaii is cute…

I don’t know. I hate my name too its allison. blech. have them call you the name of your fav person from a movie or something like that. people call me alice because I like alice cullen from twilight.

I had people start calling me by an online nickname that made no sense to anyone and when they asked why I just said some people call me that and I prefer it. No need to explain to people.

Pick WHATEVER name you feel suits you. Like the person before me said, they get you used to it and it becomes second nature.
