How to tell if your sun conure (a bird) is a boy/girl?

I would like to know if there is any other way to tell if my sun conures are boys or girls without sending feathers to a lab or waiting until they lay eggs or… Feelng their but. P.s one is a about just over 1 year old the other is 9 months

well I found out that boys have a flatter head then the girls

Sun conures are monomorphic birds I.e. the males and female birds look the same. In some cases the males may have slightly brighter feathers than females, but this is not an accurate way to tell males and females apart. DNA testing is the only way to accurately sex these birds.
