How to keep acrylic paint?

You should probably get better paint, Go to a hardware store- the paint will cost more but it will last longer. Also if you go to an arts and crafts shop you can buy fixative that you spray on dry paint to give it a protective coat.

Quite often, cheap paint will start to rot or grow mould. Or fade really easily in the sun. If you are planning on keeping your room this colour, then you should buy better paint. You could get it cheap sometimes on a second hand site. The paint will be half used, but if you only need a bit of a colour then you can get it cheaper.

Better paint, for sure. Acrylic should be permanent. A sealant would be nice too.

If you get a flat enamel paint it will be washable and much more durable than plain flat paint. When you start getting tino eggshell, satin and semi-gloss paints they will leave a sheen. And names like Sherwin Williams and Benjamin moore will almost always be better than generic department store brands. You can also put a glaze over the paint, before you add your pictures. The advantage of glazes is that you can tint them if you like to change the hue a little.
