Answer #1

hot wash cloth! but ummm… ew .. you should see a doctor about that lol.

Answer #2

Hot washcloths help get the gunk out. :] I just had pink-eye, and when you have that your eyes get sealed shut with goopy stuff overnight, and my doctor said a warm washcloth is best for that.

A few years ago I mentioned this to my eye doctor when I was at my appt. She said that there are actually little parasites that live on /in your eye lashes. She said to gently wipe the eye with alcohol for a few days in a row to “kill” the parasite - yes, they may come back months later. I, however, really don’t like alcohol on my face, so I used a toner that I use on my face and just did it when I cleaned my face. The toner has salicylic acid (which is an exfoliant /zit-dryer) and it worked! Hope this helps!

Yeah, I get that in the morning, My eyes are always red because I pick it out. I never knew what to do about it, so I just picked it. It’s bad to do though because your eyelashes will come out with it, and it takes a while for them to grow back. I have stopped picking it now because I had patches of eyelashes that were missing.

Answer #5

I agree, a hot washcloth will get it. I have had that issue before and I asked a pharmacist on what to use to help stop that issue for me and they recommended Zaditor eye drops. They use to be prescription eye drops but now you can buy them at any pharmacy. They really helped me out.

Answer #6

morning eye crust…eeew. I’ve never had it except once when I had conjuctivitis. I don’t know that there is much you can do. You can’t control what your eyes are doing while you sleep - which is cleaning the crap out as your eyes are closed and pushing it to the edges which is what the ‘crust’ is. Try using baby wipes to wipe your eyes in the morning.

Answer #7

its normal pretty much everyone with eyes will have either crust or gooey stuff in there eyes when they wake up the crust is just usually dried tears you should just be able to wipe it off and pick it out but if not use a wet face wipe or a cloth soaked in warm or cold water

Answer #8

Just wash your face in the morning or take a wash cloth with hot water and put it over your face.
