how to connect laptop to car

how can I connect my laptop to my friends car so we can listen to all the songs on my laptop though the cars speakers is there something you can buy and just plug it into the car then plug it out when finished listening

older car with a casset player there are casset addapters that have the 3.5mm headphone jack newer cars go with a fm transmitter (more expensive) if there is not casset player and make sure it has the 3.5mm jack not the ipod imput cars with non-stock system(cd player) usually have a input in the back (or front) of the player so you’d just need to buy the cable 3.5mm to 3.5mm

just plug those into where you’d put your headphones in on your laptop

the adapter usually can go in the ciggarrette lighter so you would have to buy one
