You don’t have to tell her that you already had sex, just tell her that your nearly 16 and that you feel that it would be a good idea to start the pill just in case on your 16th birthday or just after something was to happen. This way she will respect that you are thinking about safety first. The pill takes a little while to work anyway so the sooner you take it the quicker it works. Telling her, she might not understand. x

Just be like “Mom, I’m sick of having really bad cramps when I get my period so I want to go on the pill so I have shorter lighter periods and less of them too.”

Well telling her is always the right move but how to tell her is another game. Basically you sit down with her tell her how you how have been feeling and find a way to express that then come out and say it I’m sure once you do it your mom will understand moms are very smart but also can be the most caring persons in the world in the end they will be the ones being there for you most

welll… it is your choice, is good that you want to be safe and you don’t need perents for that, you can just go to your planned perenthood center. Is where you can get all that and be safe, and not because your pregent.
