How much does it cost to get a bunny spayed?

Does anyone know roughly (obviously it varies) to get a bunny fixed? And the appropriate age to get that done?

I agree, about 6 months old for both, maybe a month younger for the male. I had 2 females and 3 males spayed and neutered. You have to get a general health check for them first - which can be around 60, then you pay for the spay or neuter. My vet (in Eugene, Oregon) charges 178 for a spay and 95 for a neuter. Pretty close to that of a dog, but they live 10-12 years, so they should be treated much the same as a dog, with vet care I mean (they are not disposable animals!). Smart to go to a rabbit specialist too and to ask about success rate for that particular vet. The females can be trickier too. The males are super simple, less complications. Also, Some females just won’t take to anesthesia - and you won’t be able to get her done. But the benefits are worth it behaviorally, they will be better housekeepers, better litterbox users, calmer, less fighting, less incidence of cancer too. The males will stop spraying which is a god send as well. Good luck!

Females can be spayed as soon as they sexually mature, usually around 4 months of age, but many veterinarians prefer to wait until they are 6 months old, as surgery is riskier on a younger rabbit. Males can be neutered as soon as the testicles descend, usually around 3-1/2 months of age, but many veterinarians prefer to wait until they are 5 months old.

$100 for a male, $200 for a female,

According to what I’ve read its really expensive to get it done.
