How much does a vet charge for a cat checkup?

I have no money and I’m pretty sure my cat doesn’t have health insurance. We’ve only taken my cat to the vet to be declawed and get his shots when he was a little kitten. We’ve had him for 12 years and now that I’m concerned with his health, I’m still a little skeptical on taking him to the VET because I’m afraid of the prices. HOW MUCH DO THEY CHARGE? (My cat has lung problems…I think? He wheezes)

I’ve got 3 cats and 3 daogs and it coast about £70 a time including jabs so dats about $140-$200 im not sure about currency conversion soz I no its about double

wow, sounds like my sisters cat, which she is only 12 years also. I forget how much checkups are. I guess it depends on what vet you go to. Some are expensive, some are cheap. You just have to look.

Maybe search around online like ‘Cheap vets in (your area)’ Just an idea. Hope it helps, wish I could have done better.
