How long should their tails bleed after being cut?

How long should they bleed after being cut? When they are still puppies.

Answer #1

Ditto again to Phrannie, They should stop bleeding before even leaving the vets office. some of the doc’s I worked with would even put in a suture or two. And some would use surgie glue to stop the bleeding. I would wonder if something is wrong if this is still bleeding

Answer #2

I hope you took these pups to the Vet to have their tails docked…

They shouldn’t bleed hardly at all…a couple drops if done at the correct time (3 days old), and in the correct way.

Answer #3

I don’t know on this one. Call the vet and ask them they will know a lot better then most people on here.
