How is it possible help is my dog too young?

My dog is a great dane and only 7months old I know this is stupid but I think she may have been in heat. I have a male 2yrs old and never had a female before. Isn’t she too young yet? I mean there was a scent and a few drops of blood but nothing great. My male did for a lack of better terms try to “hump her” but I stopped him she wasn’t crying or anything She is too young to have pups?

That’s not a stupid question! 7 months seems awful young for a Great Dane to go into heat, but stranger things have happened. It’s not the ‘norm’ is all. She is however WAY TOO YOUNG to breed. I’d keep that male away from her till you know for sure if she’s in heat…and as soon as she’s done with that, get her spayed.

If all he did was hump her, without penetrating her, then she’s not pregnant.
