How do you make something feel waxy?

im doing a similarity project for geometry, which is where you find an object and make a replica with a bigger size. They both, however, must be proportional to eachtoher.. I decided to do a candle because there were no words & there was a pretty simple design on it. How do I make the new enlarged object feel somewhat waxy? do I use wax paper? please remember im on a budget and the store im most likel going 2 is walmart

It’s just a wax that you put on your floors to make them shine…it’s pretty cheap - usually between $8 - $20.
