How do I tell him I like him without scaring him?

Ok, so there’s this guy and I like him a lot. We’ve been talking for about a couple weeks now about 5 or 6 maybe more and up until last wednesday he stopped talking to me. I mean he’s not a virgin but I am and I was wanting to give myself to him…yes I know virginity is sacared and I should wait and it should be with the one I love and well I do love him and we have this bond or a sort of connection and when I’m with him I feel safe and nothing in the world matters but me and him. When I around him he gets quiet and he’s definitely NOT the quiet type. He also gets that look in his eyes that’s saying I want you so bad but I don’t want to just do you I want to give you the world and more. Last Wednesday when we were hanging out he kept giving me hugs and we stared into each others eyes for at least 5 minutes straight even though my friends were there and were talking to us we still didn’t break but anyway I want to tell him how I feel but I don’t know if I should cause…well he’s got all these other girls chasing after him and I don’t know who they are or how he is with them soi don’t want to look dumb and say oh I like you so much you don’t even know and then there’s another girl that he’s in to. So can you help me???
