How do I make myself cry?

It’s the only way to make me feel better when I’m really mad, yes, writting’s good, but crying makes me feel better, my parents are too busy and they have no time to even hug me! I haven’t seen my mom for 2 days! I only see dad everyday at lunch and text mom with mobiles, but I really need to hug her, and when I tell her that I missed hugging her, she goes like: hehehe, funny! And when she hugs me, she does it in a hurry! I feel so lonely these last couple of weeks, and everything’s getting worse around me! I’m losing friends, hugs, happiness, positivity, and a lil’ love from my parents!!
I’m feeling so bad today! And I think I’m going to get worse!! Cause at school things are getting worse, and mom’s still busy, I didn’t see dad yesterday, and I truly need to cry so I can feel better! It’s the first time in my life I feel like this!! Maybe I’m getting my period, but I never got this depression like this! It’s always normal, I just become a lil’ quiet, mad and frowny, what is this thats happening to me?!!

You have a combination of problems that are actually quite common. First you live in a home where time seems to be so short that the parents don’t seem to be available to you. If you can’t corner them and tell them that you need to have more of their time, then write them a letter explaining it. Don’t just ignore it. They probably don’t realize how much their lack of personal communication with you is affecting you.

Another point regarding your depression is that you are at an age where everything is changing. Your hormones, your emotions, and actually even your brain are undergoing radical changes. This is also happening to your friends, so it is not abnormal for you to experience confusion and depression.

The only thing you can do is keep communicating with people, including your friends, and remind yourself that everything really does get better. Think POSITIVE, be POSITIVE and do POSITIVE.

And, don’t be afraid to Fun Mail one or two of the Advisors on this site and use them as sounding boards to help you through difficult times.

Yes, there will be difficult times, but you are strong enough to get through them.
