how do I hook up my acer notebook to my tv?

I have got the cable for my acer aspire one I have tried to hook it up but all I get pink green line thourgh my tv the cabe ends are red green blue could someone pleases help me thank u

RGB (red, green, blue).. I’ve answered this type of question before ;)

the last person wanted to to know how to hook the lappy to a tv… is this what you need too? (your not quite clear)
