How do I go about asking him out?

well, we’re just an acquantance really, he works with me and I’ll be leaving next week. is it a good idea to tell him how I feel? or just ask him to spend more time with me and have a drink? I was thinking of telling him on facebook in the private message section, but most of my friends say its a bad idea. shall I text him? is that a good idea? in the text what shall I say? thanks

Not facebook - Give him a phone call or text and go out with him to eaat or something and tell him how your feeling, and see if he feels the same :] Hope I helped
