How do I cite 1 author who is a doctor for a book in apa?

Answer #1

If the quoted material is the only quote on the page, you may follow it with an”*” asterisk, and at the bottom of the page, divided from the main txt by a horizontal line

  • Dr. Richard Kimball, “Studies in Auto-asphyxiation”, Vol I’ve, page 16, Journal of Oral Gynecology .

Should you have more than one quote on that page, give each quote an endnote number like this1 (which in word will appear small, and lower) then with a dividing line after your last line of text (leave room)

  1. Charles Manson, “Helter Skelter” Doubleday, 1972
  2. Dr. Rob Zombie, “Guess What We Had For Dinner?” Ghoul Press, 2002

Either of these is acceptable.
