How can I keep myself runnig for like 8-9 mins without bein puffed?

Im going to cross country tomorrow and I have to run a mile and that takes me like 8 to 9 mins and I want to do it so I don’t get puffed because I want to win x I need soloutions please x Thanx x

Run breathing in deep with your lips protecting your tongue from your teeth and mouth open !

alright one thing, it is physically impossible to not be outta breath when running that far. our body’s can only take in some much oxygen, and we always go into oxygen debt no matter what when we start to do something that requires a lot of oxygen. taking deep breaths doesnt help too much either way.

Don’t pay attention to how much longer you have left to run, when I run.. I cover the time left with something
