How can I get ungrounded?

I left half an hour before I was suposed to be home and I thought it was enough time to be home in but the buses were taking ages and I even rang my mum up and told her it aint my fault and I was only 10 mins late and hardly my fault was it

do stuff for her, make drinks offer to cook the dinner stuff like that but don’t be too obvious!

Well, if you’re telling the complete and unbiased truth, then I’m not quite sure why your mom grounded you. You did call ahead and say you would be late, right?

Look, there is also this possibility- you initiated a completely unnecessary argument about your curfew and then came home late. She may have not believed and thought that you were coming home late to spite her. However, I doubt that she would have reacted like that if it was only ten minutes. You’re sure? If you are, your mother really needs to learn to look at things objectively.

You can do nice things for her obviously but don’t expect that to make your mom decide to “unground” you any earlier. What she wants from you is a little maturity. Take a look back at events- you argued with your mom about the curfew, probably stormed out the door when you didn’t get your way and still came in later just to prove that you could go against your mom’s wishes. Seriously? That was really childish. It’s her house and she sets the rules and breaking them is just disrespectful considering that she pays your expenses, supports you, etc.

So try apologizing to her, admit that you were behaving childishly and that you will respect her rules from now on.

some people helped because now im ungrounded and was only grounded for one day :)

Tell your Parents you love them and tell them you didn’t mean to stay out late

Youll be ungrounded when the punishment is over, you wont learn anathing otherwise.
