How can I convince my parents to let me get snake bites?

you’re 18 so do what you want to do. and your mom says that it’s not ‘feminine’? if you’re not a total lady than I’m pretty sure you’ll be fine. I want to get tattoos and my ears pierced when I’m 18 or older and my dad doesnt agree with it (luckily, my mom doesnt care!! :)) but I’m getting them anyways!!

Why the hell do you want those? Why do people feel the need to cover their fces in makeup, desecrate their skin with tatoos, and fill their face with jewelry in order to look good? It’s pointless and destructive.

Seen as though youre 18 you’re legally old enough to get them done although doing this could loose you’re parents respect which it seems you appreciate. Offcourse you could go ahead and get them done but you could also ruin your relationship and trust as you would be going behind their back.

It seems you’ve tried to to convince them already but have been unsucessfull. All you can do it keep trying. You say you’ve told them how you would care for it and everything so it seems maybe nothing would change there minds.

So the question is do you respect your parents enough to respect there wishes or go against them? I would wait a couple more years and they can’t realy argue with you then as you’d be even older and more capable to look after the piercing

Your 18… do what the hell you like. Tell them you will move out, find a flat and everything so really its not their choice. they won’t agree even if you don’t live under their roof. Parents are parents.

If you still live under their roof - it’s their rules no matter what. You want snakebites - move out! Your 18 years old - get a job and move out on your own then you have your own rules.

To me, it messes up a pretty face and definitely not feminine in my humble opinion.
