How can I convince my friend that im not lying to her?

a few weeks ago, I met this guy paul, and we were secretly dating for like two months, then I broke up w/ him, but my BFF thinks that im lying to her because she never met him, I think shes just jealous because he gave me a tiffany bracelet, what do you think I should tell her?

hmm that’s a tough one… She probably thinks you’re lying cause as your bff she expects that you’d tell her everything you do, couples and bffs aren’t supposed to lie or keep secrets for each other… so she people doesn’t believe you cause she won’t accept that you’ve been dating someone secretly.

I honestly don’t think you need to convince her. Just go on with your lives and don’t think about it. If it’s a really big deal to you that she knows the truth, then don’t you got some textmessages between you and Paul or don’t you have pictures of him and you together?… if not then you’ll just have to explain everything to her, how you met him and home come you decided not to tell her.
