How can a rabbit and weener dog play nice
My rabbit like to run around the house but my weener dog chases it and we try to lock him up but he just wines so can you tell me how to make them play nice
Does your dog snap, bark or growl at it? He might be chasing him because he’s playing. I had a rabbit that used to chase my cat around…it was pretty funny.
they are natural enimies, so if you want them to play nice it will take time, but dont over do it, or your rabbit will die from heart attack. just leave him in his cage at first and just hold your dog by it, then hold the rabbit in your arms and let the dog sniff it. who knows, maybe one day, they’ll be friends! :)
That’s asking a lot of a Dachshund…They were bred to “go to ground” for badgers…I think he’d look at a rabbit as easy prey…
