How many hours can you legally work/week (under age 18) if it's during the school year?

Oh, you know, I probably should’ve menitioned that I meant in the US, cuz it probably varies a bit from country to country

If your under 18, the most you can put in is 4hrs, no more. (That’s from what I know)

4 hours/week are you kidding me?? that’s like $28/week… plus i already work 18/week…

when i was under 18 i had to keep it to 20 or under per week. but now i still use that excuse, because i’m lazy. lol.

I’m not kidding. My mom told me that a few times when i was a teenager. They can’t make you work more than that.

One time i went into Wal Mart with a group of friends and one of my friends went into the dressing room and started hollering asking where the toilet paper and that got us kicked out.

I guess it depends where you live & what the minimum is like in your hometown/country!

When I was in HS I was able to work 4 hours a day after school 5days a week(In the Middle East like in Europe,you have 6 days not 5 although Friday is considered half a day so I had off couldnt work my hours on friday due to school but sometimes I had a shift on Saturday night twice a month!)

My best advice to you is to find out what your rights are are in your hometown, try the unemployment agency for both the laws & perhaps the best offers they may offer you for jobs in your area & best pay!

Here in Texas you can only work 8 hours a day, but you can work everyday :)

i believe it is 16 hours, it used to be in ohio anyways.

im 16 and i work at taco bell and i have worked 43 hours and im only allowed to work up to 30…

its like, 40 in washington…
