What can I do about the hives I keep getting on my hands from the bar in conditioning?

i am allergic to the metal and it cause really painful hives when i lift weights from the contact on my skin and gloves don’t work :S

wear lik baseball gloves thick enough so it doesnt touch ur skin and grippy enough to hold the bar
