Help!! my money tree is not doing well

I just bought a chinese money tree about two months ago for my tanning salon. its still growing new leaves but some of the older leaves are turning brown and falling off and some are droopy. I try not to water it to frequently. Im worried that its going to die. Also when the leaves grow there are only 5 or 6 pettles instead of 7 like there is supposed to be.
Please can you help me.

Answer #1

Usually, the money trees they sell need to be replanted after not too long, as the pot they sell it in is maxed out. Have you replanted it yet?

Answer #2

the leaves that are droopy, pull off. instead of focusing its energy on getting those leaves back to life, more leaves will sprout. also, trees need the natural cycle of the earth~ leaves falling off in autumn, then coming back in spring. a tree can survive for a few years without this cycle, but it would be much better off if it had that. and, like thedude said, you probably need to repot it; not only the soil is probably out of nutrients, but if the roots grow to be too big for the pot, the tree will start to die. be careful when you’re taking the tree out of the pot. you’ll need to break up the soil around the roots, so make sure you don’t accidentally break and of them.

No I have not replanted it but thank you for the tip I will try that.
