Help I Need To Loose

I am Fat and I do not know what to do. I am 34 years old and I had my first child 6 months ago. Before I got pregant I was thin, but not perfectly thin. I was a size 12 but I am 5 ft 10in tall (142 pounds). During my pregancy the doctor put me in bed the first three months. Then the last three months I was informed no exercise. I gained 110 pounds during the pregancy. The doctor made me wait 3 months after giving birth before I could excercise. I did loose some weight then, I lost 30 pounds. When I was told I could exercise I was 215 pounds in December. I started right away. I have been doing cardio, yoga, and pilates everyday for 30mins each a day. I was eating low fat. I stepped on the scale last week. It is March and I only lost 8 pounds 208 pounds. Now I am doing adkins and getting no results.I have increase my workout. My husband is not attracted to me and I feel so ugly. What do I do? How do I fix this weight proble. Any ideas?

I would say if you are good with “diets”, I mean if your problem is not eating. Try eating only protein and vegetables (good carbs) any kind of meat and a big salad with olive oil and lemon, veggies - u can prepare really good stuff - cut salt a bit, you might be retaining water in your system. No white flour, no bread, and very important no sugar! except the one in fruit, which you should only be taken in the morning. Drink lots of water and take snacks, like a boiled egg, or piece of fish, tuna salad etc… eating 6 meals a day - every 3 or 4 hours- is a good advice. Don’t eat any “low fat” or “light” products, they are really bad to your health and you won’t loose weight. Also, no diet coke, you will gain weight!! So gooood luck and keep me posted! oh and walk one hour a day, that is the best excersice and helps your body lean and fat free.

Got to the doctor and see if your thyroid is running right. A slow thyroid made my best friend gain a lot of weight that she couldn’t lose after giving birth. Now she is pencil thin again, as she used to be, because her thyroid problems were diagnosed and she got on the right meds.

Sounds like you have gone through a lot already. Try stepping up your exercise program to an hour a day if at all possible and eat smaller portions more often throughout the day. If you can eat about six times a day and limit the amount of food at each of these sittings to something very small and nutritious that will help increase your metabolism. And try and stay active through out the day even if you are not exercising all day. Take walks with your baby.

Answer #4

I just want to add that in all of this make sure you lose the weight in a HEALTHY way and make your top priority being there for your new baby. Joining a gym allows you to talk to other people around you who may have experiences that are similar and some tips, or trainers around to help you find a better workout.
