I am 13 years old and I weigh 292.5 lbs

I am 13 years old and I weigh 292.5 lbs. I dont know how I let myself get this way.I was an average child. Maybe a little heavier than should be but not this bad. My family(mostly dads side) is and has been heavier-set. I NEED to fix this now. I have a goal to be 140 lbs by the time im 16 (drivers liscense). How can I lose weight by myself withOUT using credit cards and money and without my parents knowing?!?

go for 200lbs when your 16. if your tall, that is a good weight

Try exercising and eating healthy foods. You can have treats every now and then but fruit is just as nice

do not go on any diets like jenny craig cause I heard they are bad for children. I am heavier too and I lost 20 pounds in about 90 days. I exercised and I took my dog on a walk everyday for about an 1 hour. hope this helped.

I LOST 51 LBS IN 6 MONTHS.. YOU REALLY HAVE TO SET YOUR MIND TO IT.. HAVE LOTS OF WILL POWER. ITS HARD IM NOT going TO LIE. BUT START 1 DAY AT A TIME. KEEP A LITTLE JOURNAL WITH YOU AND EACH TIME YOU EAT SOMETHING OR DRINK SOMETHING WRITE IT DOWN. THEN THE NEXT DAY SET YOUR GOAL TO SUBTRACT 1 ITEM OR A SMALLER PORTION OF THAT ITEM.. EVENTUALLY YOULL GET DOWN TO A POINT WHERE YOU FEEL THAT YOU ARE EATING BETTER PORTIONS. ALSO AT THE END OF EACH WEEK WEIGH YOUR SELF AND WRITE THAT IN THE JOURNAL.. KEEP A SMALL TAPE MEASURE TUCKED INSIDE JOURNAL AND WHEN YOU WEIGH YOURSELF USE THAT TO MEASURE PARTS SUCH AS STOMACH, THIGHS, UPPER AND LOWER ARMS, NECK, AND CALVES. SO YOU HAVE AN IDEA OF WHERE YOU WILL BE LOSING THE WEIGHT. I HOPE THIS HELPS GOOD LUCK..
