Don't know spanish but my family speaks it

my entire family speaks spanish and freaken I havent got the slightest idea on what they are saying. I was adopted at the age of three so it was a little late to be learning spanish for me

Well, even at 18, it’s not too late to learn…I took 4 years in high school, four years in college & then had a job for 3 months speaking Spanish full time, then lived in Costa Rica for ~8 months & spoke it at least 60% of the time.

Also, the grammar in Spanish is much easier than English, as there is only one major linguisitic influence (Latin, as opposed to English, where we have Anglo Saxon, Latin, Greek and German influences)…as a result, it’s easier to go from English to Spanish than the reverse by a lot.
