Why did Helen Keller have to meet Dr. Bell?

Answer #1

Because Helens parents knew she needed help. They consulted in her doctor who suggested she see Dr. Bell, also known as Alexander Graham Bell, whom was the inventor of the telephone. He was facinated with sound and intrested in helping people hear. Which Helen could not do. She felt the vibrations of his pocket watch and would sign to him to speak. She could feel but not hear nor see. Basically because the doctor reccomended her to him because he was intrested in helping people hear.
