Have things changed?

WELL TO BEGIN WITH IM 15 GOING TO 16 I HAVE A BOYFRIEND WHO TURNED 19 THIS NOVEMBER.MY PARENTS DONT KNOW THAT I DATE HIM STILL, THEY TOLD ME I SHOULD BREAK UP WITH HIM BUT I DIDNT.WE HAVE 6 MONTHS BEENING TOGEATHER AND HE WAS MY FIRST WE HAD SEX ON OCTOBER A MONTH A GO! You said you love your boyfriend and he loves you back. So you had sex for the first time with someone because you were both in love and cared for each other. I think that’s beautiful! Not all girls are as lucky as you and you have to remember that because this means that you’ll always have a nice memory of your first time.

As for relationships lasting forever, it’s not that easy but it doesn’t mean it’s impossible either. I think worrying about it doesn’t help though and if you over analyze things and try to control a situation it won’t work. The best advice I can give you, goes for you and your boyfriend: respect one other, be there for one another and try to have good communication (learn to listen and express yourself).

This is the reason why I strongly feel that young teens shouldnt be having sex. Its very rare that we ever end up with our first love. You might know of somebody who had sex last week because they were ‘in love’ – in fact, ‘madly in love’, and this week, well its over. Is that love? Sex does change things, and thats why its always best to wait until you are older, and you know this is going to be your future husband. 16 is way too young to look that far ahead! The truth is, young love rarely lasts! You are emotionally attached now that you have given your virginity to him.

You cant make someone commit to you Hun, just because you have sex with them.

Mistakes happen.. And unfortunately young love doesnt always last.

Do what you can.. Be yourself… and love him like you say you do. If it dosent work.. then dont throw this away. Learn from your mistakes.. Only be with guys who will love you all of the time.. who will appreciate you.
