Do you believe that love is one of the hardest obstacles of life?

I do, nowadays it seems that no one wants love, just the sex. :/ I can’t wait to find a gentleman who actually wants to take the time to date me.

Well, the only time it can be an obstacle is when it isn’t for real. There are many scenarios that I could describe here but with all due respect, at 13 you may not understand them because you haven’t lived em yet. People do crazy things and don’t do things they should because they think they are in love or want to be in love and I guess that’s all part of the process of living and learning. When love eventually comes into your life, you “know” it and it becomes your life. Everthing changes and everything you do is because of it and you are very happy about it. It is the most powerful thing in the entire universe, and also the most dangerous, so you gotta be careful.

I dont believe love is an obstacle. I believe pride and ego are both obstacles for true love. If love seems hard, then someone in the equation has fear, and fear is the opposite of love. Fear is nasty, it is the jealousy, insecurity, all that crap that is part of the pride and ego. It is what keeps us from love. Love is ‘good thought towards’ and leaving results of that to the universe. We dont love with expectations. Remember what Paul said: “ Love is patient; love is kind and envies no one. Love is never boastful, nor conceited, nor rude; never selfish” I do not do bible quotes, but this one seems to sum it up pretty well. Love is also action. Because if I say I love you, but then I am jealous, non-trusting, or cruel, then my actions say I dont love you, even if my words do. Love is what I do. It is a verb. You cannot take from me if I love you, because I am not bartering. I love you, Period! It is an unmerited gift, If your rreactions to my love are negative too often, then I can choose to love you differently, I may have to ‘move on’, but I move on lovingly, this is called emotional maturity. If the world loved like this, we wouldnt even need rules. We would do for others because we love them. Amazing.

Obstacle? I’m pretty sure a crack addict would rather have some hard times in their relationship than be a druggie.

Not excatly no, I see it as more of love being able to over come obsticles. The obsticle is the journey in finding love! That’s the obstcle!

I don’t. Love is the best solution for complicated obstacles :)
