If you continue taking birth control because you didn’t realize you were pregnant, it’s fine…don’t panic. There is very little evidence that the hormones in birth control pills will cause birth defects.
Still, the birth control pill is a potent estrogen… and to prevent miscarriage, the exposure to the estrogen should be minimized.
Once you learn that you’re pregnant, you stop taking the birth control pill… just to be on the safe side.
Taking the birth control because you want to terminate the pregnancy is not a bright idea (if that is what you are thinking of doing). Although it won’t cause any harm to you…most likely it will not terminate the pregnancy, and you will just carry on with the pregnancy.
I DON’T WANT 2 KILLTHE BABY!!! I WAS JUS WONDERIN lol I’m sorry you guys thought that!! If I was that baby would mean everything 2 me!!!! :)
