How can I stop taking my birth control?

I’ve been on 2 different birth control pills for about a year and a half. I started taking it because I get my period about every 2 weeks. I’m really bad at remembering to take my pill every night and I was thinking about stopping the medicine. Anyone know how I can go about doing this?

Well, I say if you are not sexually active then go ahead and stop taking them. If you are, get better about taking them regularly or find a new methos (such as IUD or patch)

Yeah, just stop taking it. Unless you’re currently sexually active and you have guys fuck you without condoms, or you let them cum inside you. Sperm dies after about 18 hours or so, so if you had sex once and took birth control pills for this long, (which I’m not assuming), then you definitely don’t need them. But like I said, if you’re sexually active, if you want to stop using birth control, use condoms.
