Is there anyway to get hair to grow over a scar?

I had brain surgery around August 21st and they obviously had to shave a lot of hair off. I have a huge scar going up the back off my head. My mom said that hair will never grow where they made the incision at Is that true? Once it completely heals is there anyway to get hair to grow back there? I

It depends how deep the scar is and if the hair follicle was damaged (which it most likely has been). So I don’t think it is possible for your hair to grow back. You can always try to cover it up with a certain hairstyle though :)

Yeah my hair does cover it Im just gonna have a bald line going down the back of my head lol
