hair dye gone wrong!

I dyed my hair black and hate it and I want it back to my old hair color (redish brown) but I heard black hair dye is hard to remove and if you re dye it again and again it’ll damage your hair so how long should I wait till I re dye it again?

I would wait a good week or two cause I had to strip mine cause I had to go to a privet school and they dont let kids have black hair there. So I was like urg so I had to strip it and dye it back to brown. So now my hair is redish brown like urs and I hate it.

I dye my hair every few months..its not damaged at all, just wait till the black fades a little so the color works better. I dye my hair a few shades darker then my natural color(so usually its almost black) just cause it looks good on me but this summer I dyed it light and it worked. just take care of it and dont blow dry everyday. oh and use a dye a little lighter than how you want it cause the black is hard to cover and it came out darker than how I wanted it when I used the exact color I wanted.
