Do you think this guy has big guts or what?
I borrowed my camcorder to my uncle in law, and he gave it back to me, but he lost the battery, and now he told me to look for a battery and tell him how much it costs, so he can payme but if he loses he has to look for that and give my camera how i gave it to him. I was wondering wow this guy has big guts to ask me that.

As I understand it, your uncle-in-law borrowed your camcorder, lost the battery, and is offering to pay you for it, but he asked that you buy it and he will pay you back. Right? It might be a little gutsy of him, but he also might be unsure of exactly what you want, so he is having you get it. If I were you, I would quickly buy the battery and give him the receipt and thank him for being responsible. He’s family and this isn’t worth a family squabble.
