iv done all that, grr nothing works got anything else I could try to fix my computer problem?

Have you checked all of the windows volume settings (double click the speaker icon)? Maybe recheck the area it is plugged into the back of the computer? Is it a seperate sound card or an onboard sound card? Did you check to see if the card is mounted properly? Try running the computer in Safe Mod to see if there is a conflicting driver? Updating your current sound driver online? What make is the computer? What sort of cable is connected?
