what was so good about the new world in early history?

Because of the fact that it was new. There were no laws there yet, it was all brand new. Imagine finding a new peice of land like America, today. That’d be awesome, to start fresh, create a new way of doing everything that went wrong, right. That’d be awesome.

it was new and provided tons of new opportunity for wealth and happiness. poor people had a chance to gain land and change their social status, which was near impossible in their native countries because you normally stayed in the same social class you were born into. also, many fled to the new world due to religious prosecution or famine in their home countries.
