It immediately made me think of Alice in Wonderland, and then The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe. Stumbling into an entirely new reality; with one step or with one fall, finding an entirely new world. That seems like the first thing to think though, you might try a play on words. Or someone finally having the courage to step out on an abusive spouse. There are so many ways to go with that, it's a great theme.
You could even have a different take on the door: it might be a mirror, it might not even be physical. Through the door into adulthood, rushing through hallways with thousands of doors and trying to choose which is right, paralleled with running through life and making important decisions. Oh lord, I love the theme, I'm totally writing something on it later.
Omg I was thinking something like this. I was thinking like about a girl who was lost and going trough something hard, but trough the door she found her way and faith and her life got better. :)
Well, there are plenty more ideas up there for you. Go with the second message instead of the first. There are so many ways you could go with it, it just takes a little thought.
thats the problem. our class is reading the lion the witch and the wardrobe and thats where our teacher got the inspiration and we can't write anything about it.
Other than scary stories you can really look into detective stories also. I think detective story will be really a good idea for sure
it could be talking about like how you dont judge a book by its cover like throgh the door is a different person ?
Perhaps someone learning about their past or even possibly their future. A story of self discovery.
About a lost girl who found her real identity through the door. lol
Probably a freaky, scary story that ends with curiosity. :D ;]
