“.(dont say join the us army I only want to join the irish one cause we are netural)”

With an attitude like that, stay in Ireland!

It is because the U.S. is NOT neutral that many of the countries of the world are free. If it hadn’t been for the U.S., Ireland might have been taken over in the first or second world wars.

There is a price for the American way of life. Not being neutral is one of those prices.

I don’t know the procedures but you could consider joining one of the U.S. military forces (I’d pick the Air Force because of its opportunities). That might give you an advantage both in becoming a U.S. Citizen (if that was your goal) but may also give you financial benefits toward a college education both during and after completion of military service.

sorry etmer but whats It is because the U.S. is NOT neutral that many of the countries of the world are free. If it hadn’t been for the U.S., Ireland might have been taken over in the first or second world wars. anything got to do with the question besides ireland was ruled by the british for hundreds of years and we were neutral long before the secomd world war.and we got the brits out using pikes and sticks when they were the most professional armed force in the world at the time .so please dont insult our history.

well, hopefully you’re plans are still a decade or so away. Right now the U.S. economy really is in poor shape, and the unemployment rate is the highest its been in years. moving and looking for a job right now might be highly disappointing.

however, should the economy bounce back, and you would still like to continue your plans, my suggestion would be to go to college and get training in a specialized field. In order to just emigrate to the U.S. you will need to prove you have a marketable skill, and won’t be living off the welfare system when you are here.

if you contact the American Embassy in your area, they may be able to give you more information, as immigration laws are constantly changing.

Good luck!

this is going to sound really biased but become a sales person or work in radio especially if you have a thick accent people in the us love accents watch american tv and you will understand what I am talking about

Answer #5

You have a lot to learn about American immigration policies. Getting a work visa is almost impossible unless you have a speciality or something they need…
