Getting a new clarinet
When you get a new clarnet, can that interfere with your playing? I have contest this friday so I need to know if it will be okay for me to get a new clarinet and still be okay.

If you have a contest this Friday than I wouldn’t spend any time practicing or playing a new instrument. The time to start playing a new instrument isn’t right before an important audition or solo.
you have to break into it first. is your old one broken? maybe you could use a new mouth piece during the contest and start playing the new clarinet after you have the contest.
