Some are, but some taste a bit weird. I’ve had some that taste just like the brand name kind. You just have to try them out, and see if they taste okay to you.

Well I love lays barbecue chips, and the jays barbecue chips taste horrible to me.. But my grandma keeps buying them cuz they are the generic brand lol.

The ones I get at NoFrills taste just the same, I love them. But there are some that are really yucky. You just gotta experiment around with them.

Some factories actually make the generic brands they just put them in different packaging so most of the time there the same things.
