GED or H.S Diploma?

Hello everyone, I was anxious to know, should I take the GED Diploma or should I go back and finish credits one at a time? It’s been hard for me in the past years and I havent been able to graduate with my class! I’m now 22 and I’m feeling pressured to finish quickly. I am interested in going to dentist school but I’m hesitating wether there is colleges who will accept a GED diploma? Can anyone tell me wich is a better option for me? thank you.

I have a GED and I am able to easily get hired at many jobs over anyone who has only a high school diploma or even the same schools I have, but the reason for that is I have Veterans preference which means I was in the military. Employers really look highly upon military service,

I have a GED and I got in to college and am doing well in it too. You could do that same thing.
