Gay discrimination equal to racial?

I think that discriminating against gay people is extremelly similar to discriminating against any race. There is no difference between it, its all discrimination. Do you agree?

I think the only reason why people are discrimitive and racist towards people are because they are different from them and do not accept change. If everyone in the world was accepting and tolerant of all races and sexual preferance, there would be less violence and fighting in schools, streets, and in homes. There should definitely be a change like this happen in the next few years.

Yup. I just wish the godamn government would realize that. it’s not illegal for people of different races to get married, it shouldnt be against the law for gays to be married. honestly, it’s ridiculous. there is no reason for that law. it isn’t hurting anyone. I don’t understand it at all.

cowpunk has a good point but both are stupid a persons sexual prefereance and the colour of there skin doesnt make them any less human…were all different

Discrimination, yea.

Not racist… Racism is discrimination against a person or persons based on their race, not their sexual preference. It’s prejudice, not racist. Unless of course, it’s a gay black male, and a gay white male, That makes it racist prejudice :)

Yea, It’s still discrimination, and it’s not fair to homosexuals to be forced into a “domestic partnership” instead of allowing them the right of marriage to the person they love. Compliments of the Christian religion, Gays are not allowed marriage rights.
