How to gauge from a 4 to a 2 in my ears?

my first holes are at a 4 right now, and I’m having a really hard time trying to put the 2’s in there, my friend told me it’d be better to use a half moon crest earring…but I don’t have one that size, sooo is there anything else I should try? I suck at forcing different gauges in

Answer #1

Try a tapered gauger. It looks like the cresent thing you were describing but more like a golf tee. It all sucks but this ones a little less painfull you can keep going a little futher at the rate your comfortable with. there ya go yo.~allowishous

Answer #2

thanks.

I’m not going to buy anything anytime soon, but aren’t there any household items I can use? I know that sounds odd..lol. but I’ve used a nail before when I guaged my 14’s

Answer #3

sooo don’t have one

but yeah, I’ll clean everything and be careful. it just freaks me out because I have major problems trying to insert the earrings through the top part, so I have to do it through the bottom, and I just looks way odd, even though I’m sure that’s normal. I’ll try putting some oil on it to make it easier when shoving through, I just didn’t do it before because my fingers were slippery from sweat and my ears were bleeding.

Answer #4

get a tapered gauger or just do it the old fasion way…force that sucker in

Answer #5

well…hmm. try a golf tee. it looks like one anyway so as long as its sturdy.. Just sterilize anything you may you try… AND be careful. Put a little vaseline or baby oil on your ear before hand. It will help it slide better.

Answer #6

mk I did it with a chopstick and babyoil, and yes I cleaned it all

Answer #7

Answer #8
