For people who know a lot about cats!

I have a catt that hass LOTS of knots on herr. && cats you know can get them out themselfss. Butt its gotten sooo badd. && right noww she has a hairball stuck in her throte && shes sufferingg & can barely breathee.. Can anyone give me advise without me having to put my fingers down her throte hole to get it outt && Please quickly!

Okayy well yeaa go to the vets & what nott Butt I found somethin better that I can do at home. Take alittle bit of butter & put it on your finger put it in her mouth Its eaither their gona swallow it or cought it up. Shes fine now. I’ve tried it. && I brushed her out so it cant happen as offten as it did. But thank you for some good answers.

Remember the saying…”Nothing else matters when you can’t breathe??”

Take your cat to the Vet…get the hairball pulled out of her throat…and maybe they’ll shave her for you…THEN, buy a slicker brush and brush her once in a while, and help her out…

Our cat used to do that cause he had a lot of hair (poor things dead now) but try tapping him on the back or giving him water.

I had a persian, and this happened to her all the time. Theres not really much you can do when that happens, just give it something to drink. In the future you might want to get it’s fur trimmed, or cut it yourself so it doesn’t get so knotty, and gets hairballs. (:
