I will like to update my firmware for my laptop,how can I do that,it is a standard cd-rom drive for hp laptops

If there are any updates, they should be automatically downloaded (with a prompt) to your laptop when it is available, much like a Windows Update. However, it wouldn’t hurt to go to the official HP website to check if you NEED to do this or if there are any available.
