It depends on the extent of the damage.

Assuming it is nothing to severe, there are otc liquid applications that would work, otherwise you would have to consult your doctor for a prescription that would help fight the fungus from the inside out.

You can’t treat the nail fungus from the OUTSIDE, because it’s growing on the INSIDE. There are effective prescription medications that can clear it up. See a physician.

I think it will be better if you see a doctor to get the right prescription for you condition. However, if this is not an option for you, you can try using herbal remedies like tea tree oil, oregano oil, or grapefruit extract. You can also purchase over the counter remedies. The one I can suggest is Fungusil, since my friend had tried it and it worked well for her.
