Does anyone feel the same about the inner self?

I would love to know more about myself and why I do the things I do. I would also love to try different and unique hobbies. I do not know what I am into though. I guess maybe because I have not yet changed for myself. I would love to accept trying something different for a change but I find that I have to have the inspiration or motivation and I do not know why most of the time. I am probably afraid of the outcome or what people will think of me if I take up a different type of hobby, I don’t know. I think life is so confusing most of the time. I do not know why I am here yet but I do know I am enjoying the time I am here. I would love to know why I feel certain emotions at different times and try to fix the negatives and come in with the positives almost all together. Most of the time I feel like I do not fit in and it is very hard to talk to people and open up. If someone knows how I feel please talk with me. Thanks. =) I would love to have real inner peace, happiness and more!! =)

from elementary school to my sophmore year in high school, i always limited myself to sticking with certain things. i was an artist by my peers standards; that kind of “draw a person or paint a landscape becaue you’re an artist” was what they always assumed i guess. and then the summer before i went into my junior year i started to look through all this old poetry (because everyone writes a little poem here and there) and i decided though i was always an artist, i would try writing again. at that point, i was having alot of trouble with my life and couldn’t write until i turned how i felt into inspiration and motivation for my writing. and from my writing, i was able to branch off into doing lyrics which landed me in a few bands as a vocalist, which is my first and foremost love at the moment.

going into to try something new doesn’t require you to be good at it right off the bat or to even have motivation. you really won’t find anything until after you sit there and try something for while, and then you start finding things that stand out to you and you mold it into what you’re doing and produce some great things. you won’t know what you like until you try it. i had a german teacher (odd right?) used to tell us that we may think we won’t like something because it may not seem appealing, but when we try it we will be surprised at how much we may take a liking to it. so, don’t over think about what you’re into. get some ideas and go for it. go sign up for a yoga class, or buy a soccer ball and kick it around, or doodle in a sketch pad, or start writing about how you feel or some idea or dream you’ve had and make a story, or read. anything. just try it.

life is very confusing, and when you think you have it figured out that’s when it surprises you by letting you know you’re wrong. if you spend alot of time dwelling on trying to figure it out, you’ll exhaust yourself. take what’s thrown your way and move on. its natural to fear being judged because no one likes it. but, you can’t let how other people think of you dictate your life and what you want to do in it and with it. make yourself happy by taking chances and fulfilling what YOU want to do, not what PEOPLE think you should do. it’s all about finding out what you like to do and you won’t if you let a fear control you.

there may not be alot of people around that can understand completely what you’re feeling, but i know there’s plenty of eager people who love to listen to someone and would be happy to have you open up to them, even though you may not see it.

im always up for a good conversation, so feel free to drop by and talk to me if you’d like. =]

I THINK THAT WITH TIME PEOPLE LEARN WHAT COMPLIMENTS THEM. MAYBE YOU SHOULD TRY OUT NEW ACTIVITIES, SPORTS, DANCING PERHAPS! WHAT WORKS FOR ME IS WORKING OUT-EXERCISE. I AM IN MY OWN ZONE WHETHER AT A PUBLIC PARK RUNNING, SKATING OR AT A GYM. I ALSO LIKE WORKING OUT AT HOME, I LIKE TO KEEP PRIVATE AT TIMES AND IT ONLY MAKES YOU HEALTHIER, LOOK BETTER AND FEEL GOOD ABOUT YOURSELF. ITS A GREAT HOBBYAND DAILY HABBIT FOR ME AS WELL SO IF YOUR TRYING TO FIND WAYS TO DEAL WITH FREE TIME THIS IS MY SUGGESTION. I ALSO AM A VERY EMMOTIONAL PERSON, COULD BE HORMONES. LOL. I GO BACK AND FORTH ABOUT SO MANY FEELINGS ALL DAY LONG. TO STOP THINKING AND ZONE OUT I EXERCISE. NOT ONLY AM I SUGGESTING IT, I AM ALSO RECOMMENDING IT. I TOO STILL DO NOT KNOW WHAT MAKES ME HAPPY SO DONT FEEL ALONE. I JUST DEAL WITH IT. QUESTIONS ARE ALWAYS GOOD BUT NOT ALL CAN BE ANSWERED BY SOMEONE OTHER THAN YOURSELF. SOME ANSWERS WE ATTAIN ONLY THROUGH EXPERIENCE AND WITH TIME. ENJOY YOURSELF FOR YOU AND NOT FOR OTHERS.

Hey!

I’ll talk to you anytime!(alannax1) I know how you feel. I never really truely fit in no matter what I do and I also have a extremely hard time talking to others and opening up but I guess I get by. I’m into some unique things. I don’t know whether you may be into firefighting or medical stuff but if you checked out your local fire halls some have a juniors crew where you can help out. I’m in two different ones and I get to help people every day as well. Its something different and unique and you help your community.
